Kano Pillars pip Kaduna United 3-2

Kano –  Kano Pillars FC on Wednesday beat Kaduna United 3-2 in Week 14 of the Nigeria Premier League football competition, played at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

Rabiu Ali opened scoring for the home side in the first minute of the game before Tijani Adamu equalised for Kaduna United in the 13th minute, to end the first half at 1-1.

Kaduna winger Yau Abubakar scored the  second goal in the 51st minute after receiving a pass from Onoja Peter.

Pillars striker, Kabiru Umar, however, levelled in the 54th minute to make it 2-2.

Rabiu Ali, also of the pillars, scored the third goal through a penalty kick  to end the game at 3-2 in favour of the home team.

Meanwhile, Pillars Coach, Baba Ganaru, has expressed satisfaction for picking the maximum points.

“We missed so many chances but I am happy that we picked the maximum points.” (NAN)
