Nigeria will open training camp in Abuja ahead of their 2013 AFCON qualifier in Liberia on August 18.
MTNFootball.com specially gathered that the date was picked by Eagles coach Stephen Keshi and has since been approved by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
This date further confirms another exclusive story by MTNFootball.com that the Eagles will not play an international warm-up prior to the match against the Lone Star of Liberia.
Keshi has returned to be with his family in the United States of America, while his assistant, Daniel Amokachi is doing television work for Supersport at the London Olympics.
Players from the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) will open the training camp in Abuja.
The foreign-based call-ups will join up with the squad a week to the September 8 clash in Monrovia.
The return leg match is fixed for October 14 in Calabar with the overall winners advancing to the Nations Cup, which kicks off in South Africa on January 19.
