His single Sisi To Du is currently enjoying favourable airplay in the nation’s airwaves, a development that has attracted giant label, Kennis Music.

Consequently, K-Kay is one the artistes that will headline this weekend’s three-day Royal Kennis Music Easter fiesta show scheduled to hold at Elegushi Beach, Lagos.

Kennis Music boss, Kenny Keke Ogungbe described the youngster’s music as “vibrant and energetic and thus qualified to perform at the Royal Kennis Music Easter Fiesta”.

K-Kay, who is a part of the group The AA,  is also a successful solo artist.

Born in England, but spending the better part of his childhood and education in Nigeria, K-Kay used this to his advantage when writing songs, to allow him to use his African heritage combined with his life in England. As a child he spent a lot of time with his cousins who had a strong interest in music.

“I was intrigued by the attention they paid to the music and would often sit and listen as my cousins played songs, as well as watching them rap along with music and freestyle.”

After building up his confidence, learning lyrics to songs and raps and free styling his fascination with the music industry grew.
