UGHELLI- Prominent Deltans, weekend, hailed the Supreme Court judgment, which affirmed Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan as the duly elected governor of Delta State in the April 26, 2011 governorship election.
They described the judgment as the will of God for the state and urged Chief Great Ogboru to show sportsmanship in his future political aspiration.
Those who spoke to Vanguard, included Olorogun Taleb Tebite, Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu, Chief Fred Majemite, Mr. Newworld Safugha, Mr. Emmanuel Okoro, Olorogun Jaro Egbo and Alawei Balas Miyebi Ometoruwa.
Olorogun Tebite, member representing Ughelli South constituency in the state House of Assembly, said the judgment had put to an end, the many litigations that were distracting Governor Udughan.
On his part, Olorogun Okorodudu, said the judgment did not come to them as a surprise, adding that the judgment was a victory for democracy and the rule of law.
Alawei Balas Miyebi Ometoruwa, on his part, urged all parties to join hands with the governor to make the state great.
