Nigerian Pay TV Company, HiTV has introduced its latest, a dual view decoder. The launch is riding on the back of a promotion to reward its valued subscribers as well as potential customers, tagged Double Slam.

Mrs. Kemi Fashina, HiTV’s Brand/Marketing Manager said the dual view would afford families the opportunity to view different exciting programmes on the HiTV platform at the same time in the comfort of their homes thereby eliminating domestic feud.

“It’s another way of wishing Nigerians a happy Independence”, Fashina said adding, “for the society to experience some degree of peace, there must be peace in the home first, so with HiTV’s dual view, we are aiming to bring peace between daddy, mummy and the kids because if junior and his siblings are eager to watch Kidsco and Nickelodeon and their parents want to either watch BBC news, Sky or Aljazeera, Hi Nolly and or Hi Nolly Yoruba among others, the dual view will settle the matter amicably leaving everybody smiling.”

Fashina spoke on the Double Slam promotion accompanying the introduction of the dual view decoder. “Existing subscribers can get the dual view decoder in exchange for their existing mono view decoders. They can also trade in their malfunctioning decoders and get the dual view at minimal cost.

This initiative is equally open to non HiTV subscribers who may be interested in taking advantage of this offer. The good news is that subscription for the dual view remains N3, 500 per month. “It takes a Nigerian company with the interest of Nigerians to do this.

It’s good news that our subscribers can now trade in their functional HiTV decoder and get a dual view decoder plus two months premium bouquet subscription at an affordable price of N22, 999 while the faulty HiTV decoder traded in gets the subscriber a dual view decoder plus two months premium bouquet subscription at N23, 999.”

The Brand Manager continued: “The catch here is, you can trade in your faulty decoder and damaged smart card to get a dual view decoder plus two months subscription at N24, 999 and subscribers will get the dual view decoder plus two months subscription including installation at N29, 999. What better way to celebrate Nigeria at 51?”, she asked.
