IBADAN-Christ Apostolic Church, worldwide, has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to develop the political will to expose and make the sponsors of Boko Haram face the full weight of the law to save Nigerians from the atrocities of the sect.

“Unless this is done,” the church noted that “the efforts by the Federal Government to make the country one of the 20 leading economies in the World by year 2020 will be a mere fantasy.”

The President of the church, worldwide, Pastor Joshua Ogunlade spoke yesterday at the opening ceremony of the Church’s 2011 Pastors’ conference,, taking place at the C.A.C, Ile-Aanu -Alasepe prayer ground, Ikire.

“With the spate of bombing, unwarranted killings and kidnapping of Nationals and foreigners alike at any slightest opportunity”, he said security needed to be given urgent attention.

As part of the church contribution to the solution of the insurgence by the sect, Ogunlade noted that the church would hold a one day nationwide fasting and prayer for those connected with the sect to be exposed.

Pastor Ogunlade argued that to avoid restiveness, there was the need to address the problem of youth unemployment especially the teeming graduates being turned out on annual basis.

“ No country can experience peace and development when their active and greater number of her citizens is unemployed. If this situation is addressed, Nigeria will soon quit the membership of rich nations with poor people”, he stressed.
