Afribank Nigeria Plc last weekend opened a Model Branch in Gusau, Zamfara State, as part of its overall business strategy to provide excellent banking services, get closer to customers and expand its business outreach.

The Model Branch will avail the people of the Gusau and its environs best banking practices which Afribank is noted for as the Branch is equipped with facilities to offer superior banking services in a comfortable and convenience ambience.

Mr. Nebolisa Arah, Group Managing Director/CEO, of Afribank represented at the occasion by Mr. Godfrey Ebetaleye, Group Head, Public Sector, stated “We will offer customized service, e-banking, on-line real time and traditional banking services in a convenient environment that offers security and comfort.

Alhaji Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi, Governor of Zamfara State, represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Muktha Anka, at the commissioning praised Afribank initiatives to expand its operations in the State and meet the banking needs of the people.

He requested the Management of the bank to assist the Government in its Private Public Sector project initiatives for the development of infrastructure in the State noting that Afribank has proven to be a highly enterprising financial institution going by its initiatives and impact in the society.

Afribank has had a long standing relationship with the Government and people of Zamfara state, having been operating in the area since 1991.
