Double denim
The Nineties look was reintroduced with the ‘double denim’ at the fashion weeks as Ralph Lauren came out with a collection of distressed jeans paired with denim shirts. Chloe, D&G and Jeremy Scott were among the labels to follow suit. The ‘double denim’ look is now moving off the runway and magazine pages and onto the streets.

M-NET last week in Lagos formerly launched its newly revamped flagship programme, Studio 53 Extra at a party held at the Rehab club on Victoria Island. In the 90’s these two women were hot cakes as they reigned both as Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria and Miss Nigeria respectively. While Nike Oshinowo-Soleye was Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Binta Sunkai emerged as a shining northern star to be crowned Miss Nigeria. That was 20 years ago.
