Crisis rocks Ogun PDP

THE crisis rocking the Ogun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took another dimension as the factional Chairman, Alhaji Semiu Sodipo yesterday announced the suspension of Elder Joju Fadairo and the immediate setting up of a panel to try him for anti_party activities.

Elder Joju Fadairo had at a press conference on Thursday, suspended Sodipo and three others and also removed the Chairman of the Elders Forum, Alhaji Sule Onabiyi.

But Sodipo in a statement described the Fadairo Executive as illegal adding that a committee headed by former Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Waliu Taiwo.

He said “the authentic and recognized state executive committee under the Chairmanship of Alhaji Semiu Sodipo has set up a disciplinary committee under the Chairmanship of Hon. Waliu Taiwo who will invite the members of the illegal executive committee including Elder Joju Fadairo for trial and appropriate disciplinary actions will then be taken against them.

“This is in compliance with the party’s constitution and due process policy of our great party”
