Senator donates bus to physically challenged

SAPELE—IN line with his campaign promise of reaching out to the masses, the senator representing Delta Central in the Senate, Professor Adegor Eferakeya, has donated a brand new 18-Seater Mitsubishi L300 bus to the association of  physically challenged persons in Sapele, Delta State to ease their transportation to their place of skill acquisition.

The beneficiaries had earlier made their demand known to the senator when he gave out about 150 motorcycles to some youths in the senatorial district for youth empowerment.

Handing over the key of the vehicle to the beneficiaries, Prof. Eferakeya, tasked the physically challenged to make judicious use of the vehicle.

He stated that as a human, he felt the pain of the people, adding that he wished he could do more and appealed to the people to aviod undue pressure and be patient with their leaders each time they made demands remarking that undue pressure on the leaders could push them into corruption.

Receiving the vehicle from the senator, the leader of the physically-challenged persons, Comrade Adeniyi Kehinde, said Senator Eferakeya was God-sent.

He said, he only made the request for the sake of it when the senator was donating about 150 motorbikes to youths of Delta Central senatorial districts
and was surprised to receive a call from the Senator that the bus was ready.
Comrade Kehinde on behalf of the others, thanked Eferakeya for the gesture.
