Airport cops nab car thieves, fraudsters
Parading the car-snatching suspect, John Emeka, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Mr Samuel Anele (DSP), said the suspect, who hails from Obowo local government area of Imo State, and his gang members were about to snatch a Volkswagen Golf saloon car when policemen patrolling the road swooped on them
He said an Okada rider who attempted to help the owner of the car, with registration number, XL 998 LSD, was fired at by two other fleeing members of the gang.
