Former Super Eagles midfielder, Moses Kpakor has said the senior national team have shown enough commitment in their quest for a berth at the first World Cup on African soil and therefore told Nigerians still doubting the team’s qualification to rest their mind.

Kpakor told Saturday Vanguard sports in an interview in Lagos that the present Eagles under the supervision of coach Shaibu Amodu know what it takes not to qualify for the World Cup, adding that the lesson of the 2006 World Cup was still fresh in their memories which they would not like to repeat itself.

“This present Super Eagles have convinced me that there is no other way but to be part of the historical first senior World Cup to be hosted by South Africa with the commitment they have shown so far after the first phase of the qualifier where they conceded only a goal in the six matches they played,” he said.
