Former national cycling champion, Mr Gabriel Gold has lost his wife, Mrs Eunice Adesuwa Gold, aged 51. She was reported to have died in her sleep on June 29, 2012 at her residence in Ibadan.

According to Mr Gold, now a cycling commissaire, equivalent of a football referee, Mrs Gold who was born Uregben in the Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State will be buried today in Ibadan.

She is survived by her husband, children, grand-children and sisters among whom Mrs. Mercy Gold-Ezome,Mr. Timothy Gold, Mrs. Sarah Osunnuga, Mr. Jeremiah Gold, Mr. Osamuyime Gold and Miss. Rachael Gold.
