It was a celebration of life, achievement and worthy retirement as distinguished personalities, from the public and private sectors,  friends and family came together to celebrate a legal icon and retired judge of the Supreme Court, Hon. Justice George Adesola Oguntade when he clocked 70 last Monday, April 5, 2010.

The celebration, which began with a church service at the Christ Church Cathedral, Lagos, culminated with a colourful reception at the KFA Event Place Lekki.

Justice Oguntade, who formally retired from the Supreme Court on March 10th, in a colourful celebration, was described by Lagos State Governor, Raji Fashola, as an exemplary jurist who delivered many good judgments in his time.
