THE leadership of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the South-South geo- political zone has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to as a matter of urgency, release the remaining results of the just concluded re-run election in Rivers State in the interest of the political advancement of the nation.

FORTUNES of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, suffered yet another setback in Delta State, following the defection of a former member of the State House of Assembly, Chief Joseph Oshevire and hundreds of his supporters defected to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Since the defeat by the All Progressive Congress in last year’s general election, members of the Peoples Democratic Party have been forced to an unfamiliar position of being a party in opposition after sixteen years of calling the shots at the federal level.
