No less than four persons with multiple gunshots have been presently hospitalized following Saturday midnight gunmen attack at Umu-Ezuboke Umualor community in Isi-Uzo local government area of Enugu state.

Gunmen, on Monday, invaded Ngbojiogu Community, in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, killing a young businessman, Mr. Ikechukwu Idenyi Ali.

Unidentified gunmen, Tuesday, shot and killed two policemen in Imo State.

An aspirant for the position of local government chairman in Enugu State, Ejike Ukwueze, has been shot dead.

“The villagers on hearing the gunshots scampered for their safety but eight (8) persons were killed at the spot, others escaped with gunshots injuries.”

Gunmen have reportedly invaded Kuchi in Munyan local government area of Niger state during which they were suspected to have killed four members of the Military Joint Force and three other villagers.

Suspected bandits have reportedly killed over 40 persons after they attacked Zurak village in Bashar District of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.

“The issue is that the driver did not know where exactly that thing happened because he claimed that there was a kidnap.”

“Sad. In the early morning of Tuesday at about 0200hr, bandit sneaked into Gusau Town and abducted several worshippers in a Mosque while they were observing tahajjud (midnight) prayers.”

Suspected gunmen killed one person at an Abakaliki hotel on Sunday, police spokesman in Ebonyi, DSP Joshua Ukandu, said on Monday.
