The Director of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), South East Zonal office, Mr Walson Ibarakumo has warned of impending flood risk in specific areas of Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi States.

PORT HAR-COURT—  flood has taken over parts of Nkpolu axis of the  East-West Road, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, following a downpour form dusk to down in the state.

MINNA—Niger State government has pleaded with the Federal Government for immediate assistance to tackle the flood ravaging the state, especially in the resettlement of communities already affected by the perennial flood.

The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) says it has started sensitising residents to early-warning flood signals in the flood-prone areas of the Kaduna metropolis.

Abuja – Two of the victims of Saturday flood in Karshi, Federal capital Territory, have been recovered, the Chief of Karshi, Alhaji Ismaila Mohammed, has said.

Flooding caused by heavy rainfall has killed three people and destroyed 20 houses in Gombe State, just as eight other persons were injured from the effects of the rainfall, an official said.

THE National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has alerted residents of South- East of possible flooding in some parts of the zone as the rains set it. It therefore, advised them not to hesitate in alerting relevant agencies of such natural disaster when noticed.
