GOVERNOR Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has described the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government as a failure, stressing that the government had failed to meet its campaign promises to the people.

IT was a convivial meeting of sorts for selected Southeast chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, convened by Governor Rochas Okorocha in Owerri to ponder on how the party could further penetrate the region that has been most resistant to the ruling party.

IT was a rousing welcome for a man many saw as a folk hero. However, the joy of the homecoming was tempered with the news that Senator John James Akpanudoedehe had been expelled from the All Progressives Congress, APC, by the Akwa Ibom State chapter of the party. The expulsion of the former senator was announced at a press conference addressed by majority of the members of the state executive of the party led by state party chairman, Mr. Amadu Attai.

LL Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State has described as untrue, publications in some national newspapers that there is a crack in the party.

There is a vacuum of leadership in the South-east APC. I am a governor. My brothers Chris Ngige and Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu are ministers, hence the importance of Nnamani coming to the party at this time.
