Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi has pledged not to abandon the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in spite of the crisis currently rocking the party at the national level.

The Rivers state chapter of the All Progressives Congress party, APC, has alleged that the state Governor, Nyesom Wike has turned the state from Rivers state to Rivers of blood. It said the leaked audio recording making the rounds and claiming that Wike allegedly made bribery calls to some INEC officials to rig the recently concluded re-run in the state shows that the victory recorded by Wike’s quarters and the Peoples Democratic Party in the state were bought.
