By Patrick Omorodion Former Green Eagles   defender, Sylvanus Okpalla has picked out two players, Seyi Olofinjana and Kalu Uche as the weak links in the Super Eagles World Cup qualifier at the Abuja National Stadium last Sunday.

Nigeria dared world Football governing body, FIFA, in Sunday’s World Cup qualifier.And the match that Nigeria eventually won 3-0 would not have taken place but for a last minute decision by FIFA Executive member, Dr. Amos Adamu, who took responsibility and gave the go-ahead for the match to commence. Before this time, the match commissioner for the day, Tony Yeboah, had decided that the match would not start.

While hosting the Eagles to a dinner after their 3-0 victory over Kenya Sunday night, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, in congratulating the team, still pointed out how tensed he became at the time Kenya started tormenting the Eagles but simply lacking a goal to show for it. Amaechi said he expected the kind of match he saw the Eagles play against France at Saint Etienne. Eagles won 1-0 and the players tried to display skill during the game.
