Eagles will be ready for Angola 2010 – Ogunjobi

Nigeria Football Federation has assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles will survive at the Angola 2010 Nations Cup, where they have been handed a difficult draw.

NFF technical committee chairman, Taiwo Ogunjobi allayed fears that the Eagles might find it difficult coping against  defending champions Egypt, Mozambique and neighboring Benin Republic.

Ogunjobi, was in Namibia for a camping site for the Eagles. He submitted that the Eagles will be well prepared noting that there was no fear of making an early exit.

“We have secured a camping site in Namibia. They will have at least two quality friendless to put the team in a good shape,” said the former international before leaving for South Africa for the draws.

Nigerian fans have kept their tongue in check since the Nations Cup draws were made. This skepticism  stems off the fact that the Eagles struggled in their World Cup qualifiers and have not sparkled as a team compared to Egypt and Mozambique who gave Nigeria a tough time in the group World Cup qualifiers.
