MSSN commends Lagos’ ruling on hijab
The Amir, Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN B-Zone Alhaji Mushafau Kehinde Alaran has commended the court ruling on the use of hijabs in schools in Lagos state, saying “We are happy with the judgement. We believe in the judiciary”.
Muslim cleric commends Esan North East LGA’s efforts against social deviants
A prominent Islamic cleric, Mallam Usman Ahmed, has commended the efforts of Esan North East Local Government to rid the council of social deviants. This commendation was made in Uromi following the arrest of some men suspected to be involved in anti-social activities at the weekend in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area(LGA) of Edo State.
The reward of patience
Every single person in this world is facing some sort of trial or tribulation. While some may be facing trials in education, others’ may be in their jobs, still others in their businesses, and still more facing problems with family or friend. In one way or the other, we will be tested by Allah in this life. Some of the scholars made it known that some of these tests will somehow wash off someone’s sins, and if he passes the test, Allah might be pleased on him and grant him al-jannah.
Ahmadiyya 50th Jalsa holds in UK
More than 35,000 delegates from over 90 countries are expected to attend the 50th Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, Annual Islamic Conference, holding in London, United Kingdom in August. The conference which will seek to increase religious knowledge, promote sense of peace and tranquility will be declared opened by the Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, world-wide, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad on August 12, 2016.
