Voting has commenced in the Ekiti governorship election as voters turned out in numbers to exercise their civic responsibility.

There was a massive turnout of voters in Ekiti as the accreditation and voting process got underway in Saturday’s governorship election.

The All Progressives Congress candidate, in the ongoing election in Ekiti, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, said that his wife’s vote is very important to him, noting that she most come back and cast her vote.

Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Professor Olusola Eleka has not been able to vote as polling opened in Ekiti today.

THERE was trouble at ward 2 , unit 7 Okeruku, Ikere Ekiti as the card reader failed to recognise the PDP governorship candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka.
