A couple of months ago, I watched Gov Obaseki talk about his plans to balloon palm oil production  in Edo and I saw a Fashola.  He was methodical. He spoke with conviction. He seemed passionate about delivering good governance.

Lagos dropped the ball. That is what happens when politicians play for  selfish political reasons.   Lagos had Okada nuisance under a firm leash in 2013. It had seized and destroyed thousands of offending motorcycles. Then the 2015 elections drew close. And Lagos played shortsighted politics.

They fight tooth and nail. Someone told me that to prosecute an effective  governorship election in Imo that about 5 billion naira could be needed.  It will sound outrageous until you start. You will start with notice me philanthropy and mid-night meetings.

Many have no hope in Hope Uzodimma. He doesn’t inspire confidence. Many doubt he has genuine claims to the mandate, despite the Supreme Court.
