A political pressure group, the Ndokwa National Youth Movement( NNYM), has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC ) to expedite action on the production of a new voters’ register, adding that since INEC has decided that the current register is not acceptable and that the commission cannot deliver a free and fair election without a new one, the body should be supported.

In a communique signed by the President of the group, Comrade Friday Ossai Osanebi, a front line member of PDP in Ndokwa East, said the most important thing now is for INEC to start the production of a new register as quickly as possible, just as he warned INEC against being used by people for political advantage.
