Korea name WC stars for Nigeria

Manchester United midfielder Park Ji Sung is one of 13 World Cup players named by new Korea Republic coach Cho Kwang Rae for the August 11 friendly against Nigeria.

Cho also named six uncapped players in a 25-man mixture of experience and youth.
Captain Park is joined by Monaco’s Park Chu Young and Celtic’s Ki Sung Yueng, but Bolton’s Lee Chung Yong will stay in England.

“I talked to Lee by phone yesterday,” Cho said.
“He is still getting back into pre-season training and requested more time. He promised to be ready for the next match.
Young stars such as Kim Min Woo, Park Joo Ho and Yoon Bitgaram will get a chance to impress Cho, who was appointed earlier this month after Huh Jung Moo stepped down.
