There was a clash between officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Department of State Services (DSS) at Ita Ekpeyong’s residences .

Officials of the EFCC stormed the residences Ita Ekpeyong, the Immediate past Director-General of the Department of State Service, in a bid to arrest him but the DSS staff guiding him resisted the move there by resulting in a heated argument.

Vanguard source hinted that Ekpenyong was to be picked up in the early hours of Tuesday over issues that relate to the amount of money taken from the arms cash by the DSS under him.
