I READ with great interest your editorial on Nigeria and the G20. Unfortunately, I must regretfully inform you that it is based on inaccurate information.

Canada , as the chair of this year’s G8 Summit, issued an invitation to President Goodluck Jonathan to attend the G8 Summit, which will take place in Muskoka (near Toronto ) on 25-26 June,  but not the G20 Summit, which will take place in Toronto on June 26-27.

The invitation has already been extended to President Jonathan, and we expect that he will attend. We expect more details to become available shortly.
