He cannot sit nor walk and usually have bouts of malaria fever on a daily basis. His sight was so pathetic that some people advised his parents to allow him to die.
Since then, her parents have made several efforts to find lasting solution to his predicament, a recent visit to University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan in Oyo State revealed that Kehinde required a life-saving surgery. Unfortunately, they cannot afford the cost of the surgery put at N500, 000 to keep him alive.
Appealing to well-meaning Nigerians, his father, Mr. Isiaka Yusuf, a trader who resides at Ire-Akari Quarters, Tose, Moniya, Ibadan said Kehinde has been taken to 10 different private and trado-medical hospitals without positive results. Yusuf said he has sold all his properties to pay for his treatment.
“Some people have advised us to abandon him somewhere to die, but since it is not ideal, I prefer to set aside my ego to beg for money on his behalf than get myself involved in unholy attitude,” he said amidst tears.
In a medical report signed by Mrs. O.O Adesokan on behalf of Chairman Medical Advisory Committee of UCH, it was gathered that Kehinde will required six C.T scans and four angiography MRI examinations.
