ABEOKUTA- THE Association of Psychiatric Nurses of Nigeria, Neuropsychiatric Hospital unit, Aro in Abeokuta, yesterday, appealed to the National Assembly to pass the mental health bill into law to enhance Mental Health practice in the country.

The body also asked the government to address the issue of social discrimination against people suffering from mentally related ailments.

A mental health advocate and consultant psychiatrist, Dr. Oluseun Ogunnubi stated this in Abeokuta at a seminar organised by the association to commemorate the 2016 World Mental Health Day in Abeokuta.
