APC-PDP
By Charles Kumolu
Administrative Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos West Senatorial District, Mr. Segun Idris has urged the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to quit the habit of unconstructive criticism of the state government, noting that the task of governing Lagos was everybody’s responsibility.
He particularly faulted allegation of negligence of duty levelled against the state government by the PDP, adding that the primary function of government as enshrined in the constitution had never taken the back seat in the state.
Briefing newsmen yesterday in Lagos, Idris, a chairmanship aspirant in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, said the allegation of not empathizing with the state over the recent flooding, was an act of disservice to the residents of the state.
He said: “Sequel to the PDP condemning Governor Ambode for failing to empathize with flood victims in Lagos State, I will say that the allegation by the PDP is baseless. The deputy Governor Mrs. Adebule and some other ranking government officials were on ground to do the needful about the flood ravaging the state.”
