THE Campaign organization of the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dr Pius Odubu and that of Godwin Obaseki led by Osarodion Ogie,   are playing mind games ahead the June 18, 2016 scheduled governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The reason is that Ogie and Odubu were Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s foot soldiers in the 2014 congresses that brought in the delegates, and hence, know one another well.

Ogie, however, had to dismantle his political structure to work for Obaseki as directed by his boss Oshiomhole and that is giving Obaseki good advantage. Ogie understands the strength of Odubu and the two have been battling in the field to outwit each other. Some say that it would have been better for Odubu if Ogie had remained aloof.
