ABUJA—FEDERAL Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, is  collaborating with a talent hunt reality show, Catwalkhollywood to help marry Nigerian cultures into foreign ones.

FCTA Secretary, Mrs Habiba Sani Kalgo said at a briefing in Abuja that “the project has been given a ministerial blessing as it will help us fuse foreign culture into our local culture.

She added: “The project will also showcase HIV/AIDS victims as participants in the reality show because we intend to give victims a sense of belonging as they can live a normal life like us.”

On the perception of the north on issues bordering on catwalk, the administrator simply said,”that was the north of old, if not you will not see me addressing you today.”

Also, Chairman of the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce-USA, Christian Iheanacho said “the essence of the show is to help promote the Nigerian culture and prints abroad at the same time creating employment opportunities for Nigerian youths.”
