Abia Warriors attacking midfielder Ifeanyi Onyeali has said  his side will not make any mistake against Giwa FC.

Warriors will confront the Tin City side in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 21 clash today at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

Onyeali said his side have worked on the mistakes that cheated them of a well deserved away victory at newcomers, FC Ifeanyi Ubah in Nnewi at the weekend.

“Of course, we cannot afford further mistakes against Giwa FC on Wednesday as was the case in the 1-1 draw at FC Ifeanyi Ubah in Nnewi on Sunday.

“We have corrected the mistakes and ready to battle Giwa FC for the three points at stake.

“The encounter is not going to be easy given the existing rivalry between both sides right from the lower division era but we will claim the whole three points at the end of the day.

“Already we have told ourselves that the clash will not be a walk-over game but an encounter we are expected to be at our very best.

“We have gone back to our home ground, Umuahia Township Stadium, after some weeks’ sojourn at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba and it makes sense to announce the return with a convincing win.

“Victory in the encounter will not only improve our ranking on the league table but will endear our teeming fans and supporters to us,” said the former Bussdor United playmaker.

Abia Warriors have raked in 30 points after match day 20 clashes from a possible 60 points.
