ABEOKUTA—Ogun State  police command yesterday arraigned 31 commercial motorcyclists, otherwise known as Okada riders, for allegedly unleashing terror on some members of Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria in the state, which left three seriously injured.

Pandemonium broke out in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, last Sunday when members of two rival motorcycle associations clashed at Isabo, leaving three members of ACOMORAN hospitalised.

The Police subsequently swung into action and arrested 31 suspects, believed to have perpetrated the mayhem.

They were dragged before the a Magistrate’s Court at Isabo on a three-count charge of conspiracy, breach of public peace and felony.

The prosecuting counsel, Sunday Eigbajiale, told the court that the suspects were members of a rival motorcycle association, Akomode Nigeria Limited, who attacked members of ACOMORAN on Sunday which landed three persons in critical condition.
