Shooting Stars have vowed to hand over to the police the fan who attacked Enyimba coach Kadiri Ikhana outside the stadium after Sunday’s goalless draw in a Nigeria league Week 13 game in Ibadan.

According to the club media officer, Jubril Arowolo, Shooting Stars are baffled by the attack after Enyimba were warmly welcomed into the stadium by the home fans.

“The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Ibadan have confirmed the off pitch attack on Enyimba FC coach Kadiri Ikhana by a

disgruntled element shortly after the pulsating week 13 goalless game (Sunday) with a promise to arrest the culprit.

“This was after a thorough investigation from various quarters while efforts are on to get him arrested and handed over to the Police.

“The management then wondered what would have prompted the attack on the coach outside the stadium with the friendly way the Enyimba players and officials were heraded into the stadium and applauded outside the stadium by the home fans after the interesting encounter.
