The Ikeja City Mall branch of  Playzone centre was agog as Nigerian children irrespective of their social status throng the centre to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day in a grand style.  Hundreds of children who besieged the centre which houses new generation games went home with various gifts and souvenirs.

Speaking during the celebration, the Manager, Playzone Nigeria, Mr. Adeolu Odusanmi, specifically urged the children to stay away from violence with a view to preparing themselves for future challenges.  Odusanmi who noted lack of government attention to issues concerning children urged them to be law abiding.

“Today is a day to celebrate and honour children and that is why we have organised today specially for the future leaders. To celebrate them, we have various take way gifts for the children including foods and drinks.

“We have all kinds of games that can help to maintain children’s alertness. We have games that can help them learn to drive a car. Playzone is unique because all machines are imported from the United State of America and we have new generation games.  In Playzone, we are conscious of the safety of children and this is why we have our first aid ready at all times. ”

Noting the benefits of games to children, he urged parents to ensure that their children find time to play games as it help to improve children’s alertness.
