Chairman of Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Delta State, Dr. Oke Idawene, has said that the party was ready to work with the governor-elect, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, to move the state to greater heights.

Speaking with Vanguard, Dr Idawene, who said that the Emmanuel Uduaghan administration has done well in fulfilling its three-point agenda for the state, adding: “We in SDP urge our people to support Governor Uduaghan to finish stronger. We also commend Uduaghan for the low debt profile of Delta State. We in SDP are ready to work with Okowa and Otuaro to move the state to greater heights. We must keep faith alive.”

Assessing the three- point agenda of the Uduaghan administration, he said: “In peace and security, I score him high because we in Delta State can all attest to it. In human capital development where most Deltans don’t understand, I will throw some light.  In infrastructural development, he has equally done well. I urge him to finish strong by completing    on-going projects. In all, his administration has performed 70 percent, we only need to bring a good hand to continue from here.”
