The newly appointed Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero has appealed to the management team of the agency for support for the daunting task ahead.

He made the plea yesterday, during an official handing-over ceremony in Lagos.

According to him, support from management will help the agency, economy and the nation in general , pledging his total support for the development of the NPA.

He further assured that as the new MD of NPA,cooperation among workers is of essence stressing that with a formidable team in place, all the challenges faced by the maritime agency will be addressed with ease.

“Without your support for the NPA to move forward will not be too good for the economy and the nation and that I why I hope we all will work together because I pledge my full support and cooperation”

Earlier in his remarks, outgoing MD, Habib Abdullahi called for total support from management staff of the agency for the new boss.
