ENUGU — Men of Nsukka Division of Enugu State Police Command on stop and search operation, Monday, arrested Chukwuneke  Onah, 26, for alleged car theft, on Nsukka-Idah Road at about 4.15p.m.

The suspect, a native of Orba in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, allegedly stole Mazda MPV Space Wagon with registration number RSH 101 DE from an unidentified owner in Abuja and was proceeding to the point of sale when he was apprehended.

Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu,DSP,confirmed the incident in a statement to newsmen in Enugu.

Amaraizu said: “Our operatives through surveillance report,got wind of the stolen car. The men on stop and search at Okutu,along Nsukka-Ida road flagged the suspect down.
