Emerhor lauded over Vanguard interview

OBIARUKU—AN activist, Comrade Sunny Eke, has described the submissions of Chief O’tega Emerhor in the course of his interview published in Saturday Vanguard of February 28 as the right sort of vision badly needed in Delta State at the present point in time.

Commending O’tega for his understanding of the issues and commitment to making a meaningful change in the lives of Deltans, Eke, in an interactive session with newsmen in Obiaruku, Ukwani council area of Delta State, described, the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate as a man on a mission to rescue Delta from sixteen years of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP misrule.

According to him, only a party that considers Deltans to be fools will make a demeaning appeal to be given another eight years ostensibly to solve the same problem they created for sixteen years.

His words: “PDP is so used to taking us for granted that they believe we are now a pack of fools willing to remain in bondage forever. Change is the barest minimum we demand in the present dispensation, and change we will surely get.”

When pressed why Chief Ogboru of Labour Party cannot provide the sort of change, O’tega wants to bring, Eke said: “Ogboru has tried his luck four times before and failed to get there. Let us try someone fresh for now. O’tega is the man and APC is the party.”
