Speaking at an interactive session last week with journalists at Orchid Court in G.R.A. Ikeja, the third residential estate constructed by the firm which is billed for commissioning this Thursday, the chairman of the company, Mr. Seyi Onajide said that the company is more interested in the long term benefits of its property than short term benefits, hence the use of high quality materials in the construction of its homes.

Mr. Onajide who noted that one of the selling points of his company is its knack for unique designs which suite the kind of clients the firm has in mind coupled with the concept of constructing small-sized residential estates that are of high quality, added that “We will continue with our vision to provide quality homes for the public because this is what we stand for. We are very careful and consistent with our projects. We give what we promise”.

Corroborating the chairman, the Managing Director of the company, Sade Hughes, an architect, said, “Our quality is derived from the internal competence within Briscoe Properties. We have professionals and capacity to deliver. We are very responsible about the way we build. What we have set out to do is to make architectural statement that is contemporary in design and finishing”.

Commenting specifically on Orchid Court, she noted that the idea behind the estate is to create a community that works. According to her, “Orchid Court is a promised made and delivered. We are changing the landscape of property development in Nigeria since the environment is dynamic and market competition has gone beyond the territorial configuration of Nigeria. To remain competitive, your offering must meet with global demands in terms of design, quality and architectural relevance to the needs of consumers”.

She stated further that Orchid Court was developed to meet the changing consumer demands as gone are the days when properties are built for the taste of your immediate environment, pointing out that contemporary designs also consider other investors and buyers who have access to same information with just a click of mouse on their computer systems worldwide.

“You will recall that Orchid Court offers elegant apartments built to top architectural standards and well crafted with European-standard finishing materials for the enjoyment of discerning investors now and in the future was first introduced to the public last year.

“It has seven different types of residential units which consist of spacious flats, terrace houses and detached houses, each with its unique view and serene spatial arrangement. Facilities in this estate includes beautiful landscaped outdoors, swimming pool, gym, generous terraces as well as electric fence and video door phone for safety of the occupants and intercom to ease communication”, she stated.
