A member of the President Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation in the South East, Mr. Mark Uchendu, has claimed the Igbo see the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), as a dictator “that does not deserve the support of the Igbo.”

According to him, Buhari had not hidden his resolve to jail Nigerians “like he did as a military President, so it will be difficult to get the support of our sons and daughters in Igbo land because we believe in democracy which President Goodluck Jonathan represents.”

The Imo State born PDP chieftain asserted that, “we have observed that Buhari will never change, he still believes that he is a military man and that is why Nigerians will not vote for him. The Presidential candidate of the APC said in Port Harcourt that he would jail corrupt Nigerians. As usual he is talking like a dictator that he is. He does not appreciate the rule of law.”
