In continuation of his visits to All Progressive Congress (APC) State Governors across the country, Delta APC Governorship candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor was in the State of Osun to rub minds with His Excellency, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola recently.

The duo held a crucial meeting behind closed doors and later briefed newsmen on the outcome of the private visit of the party’s candidate in Delta State.

Aregbesola said: “my brother (Olorogun Emerhor) is here to see me and we discussed in details some strategies concerning the forthcoming governorship elections in Delta State.

“APC is very much interested in winning the elections there which is why all our Governors must as a matter of necessity, provide necessary advise and other legitimate assistance to enable Olorogun Emerhor conquer the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.

The defunct Bendel State comprises of Edo and Delta States. Edo people are now enjoying substantial dividend of democracy and it is fair that Delta state should join them.

“We are worried. Governor Oshiomhole of Edo State is also worried because they are neighbours. We, in the State of Osun, have also assured the people of Delta State and Olorogun Emerhor that their struggle is our struggle.”
