Dr. Eddy Ugboma, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, has encouraged Olorogun David Edevbie, to go into the governorship battle of 2015 with courage and win.
Ugboma spoke when the Edevbie team paid a consultation visit to the party’s leaders and elders in Oleh.

Speaking earlier, Olorogun Edevbie said he wants to be governor of the state so he can replicate what he had observed in the developed world, adding that he has the experience and political will to do so.
He said: “When I become governor, I will project the people of Delta Central and South into politics at the national level. There are positions more powerful and influential than ministers at the national level.

“Unfortunately, in that circle, you find that our people are absent. I guarantee you that within four years, our people will be visible in national politics. We should stop complaining about the situation, vis a vis Delta North predominance in appointments.”

Responding, Ugboma said: “Enter this governorship race with courage and determination. I must tell you that it is easier for us to support a strong man than to support a weakling. I see you as a strong character and I pray to God to support you, show you the way and put you on the way.”
