Jos — In the spirit of the country’s 53rd independence celebrations, the Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang has granted amnesty to five prisoners who were serving their terms in Jos Prison.
According to a statement yesterday by the governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs in Jos, James Mannok, those granted amnesty included Jerry Arin, Iveh Arama, Peter Gazi, Domchang Jatau and Pankyes Yakubu who had all been released unconditionally.
