Against the backdrop of terrorists threat to attack and bomb national assets including mosques during the Eid-el-Fitri celebration, the Nigerian Army has placed all its formations on alert in other for it to ward off Boko Haram attacks.

Making this disclosure in Abuja Wednesday, Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Ibrahim Attahiru said, “To this end, the Nigerian Army will remain eternally vigilant with a view to reducing vulnerability through proactive preventive measures”.

Attahiru who was speaking on current developments in the force emphasized that the measures are also aimed at preventing the spread of terrorism to other parts of the country.
