The Nigeria Olym-pic Committee, NOC, has hailed the appointment of Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye as the new Director-General of the National Sports Commission by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as a sure way of bringing back the glory days of Nigerian sports.
Honourable Elegbeleye replaces former DG, Sir Patrick Ekeji. President of NOC, Engr. Sani M. Ndanusa in welcoming the former House of Representatives member and former deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Sports to the NSC, said that his wealth of experience both in the Executive and Judiciary arms of government would bring stability and results.
