Big 5 Construct Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Federal Government’s plans to establish building materials manufacturing hubs across Nigeria, saying the event will provide a platform for companies and authorities driving growth in the construction industry to connect and collaborate.

Under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Federal Government plans to establish building materials manufacturing hubs across Nigeria, signalling a stronger focus on local production, resilient supply chains and more affordable construction.

As Nigeria’s project pipeline expands and efforts to strengthen domestic capacity gather pace, Big 5 Construct Nigeria is expected to bring together suppliers, buyers and project stakeholders to support the next phase of construction activity, with materials, equipment and technologies for various segments of the built environment on display.

Speaking ahead of the event, scheduled to hold at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, from September 22 to 24, 2026, Senior Vice President, dmg events, Josine Heijmans, said: “Nigeria’s construction sector is witnessing an important period of growth, with continued investment creating demand for new products, expertise and capabilities across the value chain.

“Big 5 Construct Nigeria provides an opportunity to connect the companies and authorities driving this growth with an international network of suppliers and industry leaders, supporting the exchange of knowledge and business relationships that can contribute to the country’s construction ambitions, aligned with Nigeria’s National Development Plan, NDP.”

The event is expected to feature more than 165 exhibitors from over 20 countries and attract more than 10,000 attendees, including contractors, developers, architects, engineers and decision-makers from across Nigeria’s built environment for business, networking and knowledge exchange.

The 2026 edition will welcome more than 150 exhibiting brands from over 20 countries, including Germany, India, Spain, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, UAE.

Exhibitors will showcase products and solutions across building interiors and finishes; concrete and cement; construction tools and personal protective equipment, PPE; digital construction technologies; mechanical, electrical and plumbing, MEP, services; heavy construction equipment; marble and stone; metal, steel and aluminium systems; offsite and modular construction; urban design and landscape; as well as windows, doors and façades.
