The Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation (PAYLEF) has announced the induction of Mariam Amadasun, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EATWITHMIMI, into its Governing Council.
The foundation said the appointment recognises Amadasun’s leadership, entrepreneurial achievements and contributions to building a successful food brand from the ground up.
Through her commitment to quality, professionalism and consistency, Amadasun has grown EATWITHMIMI into a recognised food brand in Lagos, with growing relevance within Nigeria’s business landscape.
The induction ceremony is scheduled to hold on August 22, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel during the 4th Pan African Leadership Conference and Award Ceremony.
Amadasun will join other distinguished African leaders serving on the Governing Council, where she is expected to contribute her expertise towards advancing PAYLEF’s mission of promoting youth leadership, entrepreneurship and sustainable development across the continent.
Speaking on the appointment, Amadasun described the recognition as both an honour and a responsibility, adding that she accepted the role because of her belief in the foundation’s vision.
“This appointment is both an honour and a responsibility that I deeply appreciate. I accepted this leadership role because I believe in the Foundation’s vision and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to its mission and long-term growth,” she said.
She added that she hopes to support initiatives that create sustainable impact, strengthen governance and expand opportunities for communities and stakeholders.
Established in May 2019, PAYLEF focuses on advancing youth development through leadership, entrepreneurship, policy engagement and initiatives aimed at driving positive change across Africa.
